🐾 Puppy Food - We feed our puppies Purina Pro Plan Focus Chicken & Rice Puppy food & our adult dogs Purina Pro Plan Focus Lamb & Rice Blend Dog Food.
We send home a small sample bag of the puppy food with each puppy so that you can safely transition to whatever food you choose. It is important to choose food labeled “Puppy Food” so that it provides the nutrients it needs to grow well.  PLEASE always be near your puppy when they eat, so you can keep an eye on them for choking!  Such a small thing to do but can save your puppies life!

🐾 Online Puppy Training ~ We are super excited to have discovered an amazing online puppy training program called Baxter & Bella that we are using with our Lone Star Springers and we totally think will be a huge help to you when bringing home a new puppy!!! 
This is a PERFECT way for your whole family to join in & train your puppy via online videos from the comfort & safety of your own home while still working with a Professional Dog Trainer!
They are also there to help with any questions or problems that you may have as members!

🐾 Leash / Lead  & Training Clicker - We do not use a leash that attaches to the dogs collar, but instead use a slip lead that our trainer has us hooked on and we totally recommend!!!
We specifically recommend the "Mendota" Brand which is an excellent quality and also comes in a variety of colors & lengths.
These leashes are great for puppies so they cannot slip out of collar or leash. The slip leads adjust in tension as your dog relaxes and can be adjusted to stay up high on your dog/puppies neck where you have the greatest control with the least amount of effort and resistance.
All of our adult dogs are trained using a clicker, and we expose our puppies to the dog clicker as well.
🐾 Toys - Our puppies & dogs always seem to love floppy toys that crunch or crinkle!
"KONG" and "BARK BOX" brand toys are good quality and tend to be long lasting, at least for us!
 Please DO NOT give your puppy or dog rawhide chew toys as they can choke on these!!!
"Nylabone" & "Kong" have a good variety of chew toys.
We especially LOVE our monthly "Bark Box" subscription, the toys are high quality & long lasting. 
I think we enjoy the "Bark Box" as much as our Springers do! ;)
🐾 Grooming - Our absolute FAVORITE Dog Shampoo bar is an all-natural Solid Dog Shampoo that is made by Beau-tanicals!

We use "Hertzko" Self-Cleaning Slicker Brush for Puppies as it is gentle on them.
​For adult dogs we use the Large "FURminator". 
🐾 Doggy Gates - These are useful outdoors for safe playtime. You may also find a Dog Gate/Baby Gate helpful indoors to section off a safe area for play and/or sleep.
🐾 Snuggle Puppy -  
Many of our puppy families have used this "Snuggle Puppy" with great success to help their new baby transition and to help calm them down.
🐾 Clean Up - We use our Vacuum multiple times a week to pick up fur and dirt.
Our Trainer also gave us this recommendation for "Nature's Miracle" that we also love for cleaning up any accidents.
My personal favorite is the Lavender scent!

🐾 Coconut Oil, Ear Cleaner, Tooth Brush & Probiotics - Coconut Oil is great for the many health benefits it offers, such as a shiny coat, which you can read about here. It's also very important to keep your dogs teeth clean and ears clean and dry, so we recommend cleaning them at least twice a month.
🐾 Pumpkin Puree - Pumpkin Puree is always useful to have on hand to offer your puppy or dog to help stabilize their digestive tract / bowels if ever there is a need, but always contact your Veterinarian for any concerns about their health!
